Spotlight on one of our favorite brides......Melanie!

We are asking our favorite brides to share their wedding planning experiences with us!

One of our favorite brides, Melanie, was married last October.  A classic and elegant affair, Melanie wore Coren Moore’s Francie Bridal Gown with lace overlay and an Almond Sash.
Her bridesmaids wore Dessy’s adorable Style 2750 in Navy.  The men wore matching Almond ties by Coren Moore.

How was your bridal shopping experience at Flair?
I went into Flair looking for bridesmaid dresses and was surprised to see that you carried bridal.  I had extra time during my appointment and took at look at your collection of bridal gowns.  There was very little pressure to look and to buy – I just fell into it and then found my dress, Coren Moore’s Francie with the lace overlay.

Did you have an idea of what type of bridesmaid dress you wanted for your girls?
I wanted something that wasn’t strapless, that was lightweight and that would look great on everyone.  The Dessy dress that I found met that criteria, it had a higher neck, and I just knew it would look great on my girls.  It fit their personalities, their styles and my wedding.

Tell me about your experience at Flair.
I had a great connection with the store.  It was easy to find things that I liked.  It was a manageable selection of bridesmaid dresses.  I didn’t feel overwhelmed with choices.  I was very impressed by the service.  Lindsay was quick to respond to all of my questions.  When I picked up our bridesmaid dresses, she was super organized.  All the dresses had each bridesmaids name on it.  Lindsay was so efficient, she was great!  I felt very confident every step of the way.
Your bridal selection is right on the spot with the quality, price and value of the bridal gown.  Your gowns were truly under $2500, and I appreciated that I got such a quality gown at an affordable price.

Any tips for brides when looking for their bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses?
  •  Definitely do your research.  Get an idea of the basics – whether or not you want a short or long bridesmaid dress, type of fabric and color scheme.
  • Be open – listen to the consultant’s ideas.  This is for the most part a bride’s first time – let the consultant guide you.
  • Make sure to have realistic expectations – if nothing isn’t exactly what you want, be flexible and willing to try something new.
  • Take along 1 Bridesmaid that way you do not get conflicting opinions and it makes the process less stressful.
Lastly, planning a wedding is stressful and super crazy but everything will turn out.  Stay open and trust the people who are helping you!

We love hearing about your experience at Flair and would love to put the SPOTLIGHT on you and your big day!
