Appointment Tips: It's all about the Benjamin's baby!!

Ladies, we know that weddings can be an astronomical expense. Believe us, we are both planning Boston weddings as we speak!  So we know that every penny counts! Make sure you keep that in mind when coming in for your bridesmaid/bridal 

appointments!! 

"What's your budget?" is usually one of the first questions we ask you ladies when you come in so make sure you have asked your girls or you personally know how much you feel comfortable spending.  That way you are never stuck in a sticky situation with your lovely ladies.  

However, if you do happen to fall in love with a dress that is a little bit out of reach for your girls it is always nice to put a few dollars towards their dresses so that both you and your girls end up happy with gorgeous dresses without having to spend wayyyyyy out of their budget!

It's all about COLOR!!!

I think it was the boy scouts who said it best......

"Be prepared!"

      Such great advice, especially when shopping for all your fab and beautiful bridesmaids! You have about a million decisions to make before your BIG day and choosing the color of your bridesmaids dresses is really one of the biggest and most important. 

          Although I hate to refer to your lovely ladies as decoration, the truth is they are in a sense.  They will be the array of color surrounding you, and the color you choose is the catalyst for many other decisions (flowers, groomsmen's attire, centerpiece colors) and will essentially set the tone for the wedding! Ouch, now that sounds like a HUGE decision.

Don't fret we are here to help you!

      Make sure you come into Flair with ideas....whether that be magazine clippings, your favorite scarf, or paint chips. Anything helps!

So, don't forget that boy scout motto "be prepared"!

Time flies while you're having fun at Flair!!

 

Let’s face it, an hour goes by far faster than anyone expects. While we all wish that time didn’t fly, such is the reality of the wedding world. With that in mind, here is a tip to make the most of your hour with us! In order to prepare for your appointment, it’s important to prioritize.

 

Sit down, look at our designers’ websites, and really consider what you want most for your bridal party. Is it the color? The cut? The length? Do you want all of the girls in the same dress? Or would you like them to have options? If you figure out which one of these is at the top your list, then we can lead you to the designer, or the dress, that best fits your vision. We’re here to help you. We aren’t satisfied until you are, but we aren’t mind readers (although we try REALLY hard to be). Be sure to tell us what means the most to you, and we’ll do our best to make all of your wedding dreams come true."

And we're off!

I don’t know about you, but 2011 started off with a bang for us here at Flair! It felt like the starting gun went off at the beginning of a huge race, with the finish line being all of your 2011 wedding dates. As soon as the calendar switched over to the new decade, our phone has been ringing off the hook with brides calling to schedule an appointment to come in and look for both bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses. Now that 2011 brides can officially say “I’m getting married THIS year” they are starting to panic and want to get their bridesmaids’ dresses and bridal gowns squared away ASAP (understandably). 

Here’s the problem: we want to help ALL of you but it’s hard to fit all of you into our schedule. Evening appointments during the week and weekend appointments are a rare commodity these days and are booking about three weeks in advance. Crazy!

So here’s today’s lesson, Flair friends. Call us ASAP to make your appointment and have a few days in mind that we can look into for you. That will give you the most chances for success this busy season. We hate turning anybody away because we’re so looking forward to working with as many of you as we can this year!
